An Evening at Club Cougar presents a lively blend of big band jazz, entertainment, dancing, and singing produced by Foothill High School's Performing Arts Department. Step back in time when swing was king! There is perhaps no more sophisticated music than the Big Band sound of the 1930's. Historically, Big Band music and dancing provided and exciting and romanitc escape from the hard times of the 30's. Things were tough then, but the music was magic! Club Cougar celebrates that special place in time with a chance to return to that elegant era. This is a dressy affaire, and we encourage our guests to play their part by dressing in period attire and by joining us on the dance floor if you wish (space is limited). The show will be held at the David Marr Theater, 2200 Eureka Way, Redding, CA 96001. We look forward to seeing you there.
